Welcome to HHDR Boarding. We understand how important it is to feel confident about where your dog stays while you’re away, whether it’s for work, vacation, or an emergency. Our boarding services provide a safe, comfortable, and enriching experience, with daily exercise, playtime, and lots of attention from our staff.
From the moment your dog checks in, they will be treated like family. We cater to your dog’s individual needs, ensuring they’re healthy, happy, and engaged throughout their stay. And when you choose Helping Hounds for boarding, you’re also supporting our mission to give homeless dogs a second chance at life.

Please note that all dogs require proof of current rabies, distemper, and bordatella vaccines to board with us. If you are having difficulty uploading immunization records to the portal or have an upcoming vet appointment please contact us at boarding@hhdrny.com to submit your reservation request.

During your dog’s stay with us they will:
- Go for several walks per day
- Socialize and play with other dogs
- Run and play in our outdoor yards or indoor play room
- Get one-on-one affection from staff and volunteers
- Spend time with staff in the office or at the front desk
- Splash in our pools in summer months
- Photos and videos will be posted on our boarding Facebook page.
Accommodations include:
- Clean and spacious kennels
- Raised beds in warmer weather
- Heated floors in cooler weather
- Fresh bedding changed throughout the day
- Grooming is available for an additional fee
- Training is available for an additional fee
Pricing:
- $50.00 a night + tax
- Additional dogs are $40.00 a night + tax if the dogs can be kenneled together
- Grooming and training are available during the stay for additional fees

Tuesday-Friday: 12:00PM – 06:00 PM
Saturday: 12:00PM – 05:00 PM
Sunday: 12:00PM – 03:00 PM
