Your Application Has Been Received

Thank you for submitting your application to adopt a dog from Helping Hounds Dog Rescue.

Our adoption coordinator will begin reviewing your information as soon as possible and will contact you by email or by phone.  Please keep an eye on your “junk” or “spam” folder as well.

Some things you can do to help us with the process is to call your veterinarian and give them your permission to release your records and ask your personal reference to call and speak to a staff member at 315-446-5970.

Although we will make every effort to match you to the dog of your choice, we will not hold the dog through the application process.

We do reserve the right to deny your application or make an alternative suggestion if the dog of your choice is not a good match for your lifestyle and household.

Our adoption fees are $400.00 for any dog 7 months of age or older and $600.00 for puppies 6 months and younger. For information about what is included in the adoption fee, click here.
