We are so excited to introduce you to Chivon Winter, our Training and Behavior Specialist and US Navy Veteran.

Chivon is a licensed K9 Training & Behavior Specialist through Triple Crown Academy with specialized areas of study in obedience, behavior modification, off-leash training, scent detection, service dog training, disaster search and rescue and personal protection, a Certified Dog Trainer through Animal Behavior College, an authorized Canine Good Citizen evaluator for the American Kennel Club and has participated and been titled in various dog sports.

We provide you with a custom approach that enhances the relationship between you and your dog(s) with methods that are clear, gainful, and effective for both ends of the leash.

Loose Leash Walking Workshop -

Come to this informative 3-hour workshop where you’ll learn everything about how and why a dog pulls, various tools that are popular for addressing it (some that could even make pulling worse!) and learn how to make the best out of your walks. Stress & Anxiety Management Crash Course -

Group Classes

Novice -
Open to dogs age 6 months and up (never too old to learn)
7 week group course designed to teach you how to train your dog to become a good companion and family dog. The first class will be for humans only, followed by 6 weekly classes with your best friend focusing on building a strong foundation, getting your dog’s attention and the basics of obedience - Sit, Down, Come, Stay, Heel, and fun ways you can use your dog’s new skills.

Advanced - prerequisite of completion of novice course or recommended after K9 Counseling.
5 weekly group classes designed to continue, to refine, and expand on skills learned in the Novice classes. Working in the presence of distractions, increasing distance and duration of commands and more precise heeling.
Think your dog could be a Canine Good Citizen? This is the course to start them on that path.

Expert - prerequisite of completion of advanced course or recommended after K9 Counseling.
Private one-on-one 1 hour lessons to reach your goals. Off leash training, Good Canine Citizen achievement - whatever you hope to accomplish will be done with the expertise of our training specialist with a schedule and pace set for you.

Private K9 Coaching -
8 one-hour, one-on-one lessons to address all your training needs. This package is for you if your dog’s behavior makes them not a candidate for group classes or if you just want personalized training for you and your dog.

K9 Counseling -
Our K9 Counseling is a 1-hour time slot that can help you navigate through your dog’s unwanted behaviors, and create a pathway to success. It’s helpful for people who just need 1 small thing addressed (like walking nicely on a leash, or listening to the commands you give), or to help lay down the foundation to reach your training goals for multiple issues. Together, we will assess what you’re looking for, create a game plan, and even give you a few things you can implement that same day to make strides towards success.
